SOUTH DUBLIN REPRESENTATIVE SQUAD

This season we have been very fortunate to have 2 rising football stars in our midst. These boys have been selected to represent the SDFL league in an Inter League Competition. This is a great honour for both Knocklyon Utd FC and players who have been selected from hundreds of players in the SDFL league.Its a real opportunity for a great experience and personal development to be coached under the guidance of Director of Football for the SDFL John Devine.

Ross McCormack

Centre half with John Spollen and Billy Walsh under 13SDFL team, He started playing football with our nursery at 6 years of age. After being selected to play on the SDFL U13 Team which played over the weekend of 18th and 19th February in an Inter Leagues Tournament, Ross played in all three games and quite unbelievably scored in each of those games. The total number of goals scored by the Team was six and another remarkable statistic was the personal tally of four scored by Ross.

Niall Worthington

Goalkeeper with Paul Lett and Laura Ryans SDFL under 12 Niall joined us this year and has made a huge impact on the team. Under the guidance of our Goalkeeper coaches Derek Kennedy and Darragh Gogan his ability caught the eye of the under 12 representative squad.
