Another great win for the under 7b1 Saturday team. The boys really enjoyed this trip to Malahide utd. The boys enjoyed playing on the magnificent pitch laid on by our hosts. David Keegan captained the side to-day.The scoreline hides the real story of a super performance and one which should have seen the Knocklyon team score three times in the first half.The Malahide goalie saved several chances and was the reason why the score stayed at 0-0 in the first half. It took a great goal from Andrew Moran in the 2nd half to separate these two teams. John Baxendale deservingly won team player of the week although in truth there were many candidates from the team to-day from goalies,defenders,midfielders and strikers.However John was outstanding to-day.
All-in-all a happy seaside trip for the under 7's to-day and three points well deserved.
